Privacy Policy

This policy describes the Zoom Bridge OBS service operated under the brand VNConference. Privacy and deletion contact: vanvu.tran@vnc.vnconference.vn.

License and device information

The service processes your license email, license status and expiry, registered device identifiers, device or machine names, and last verification times to activate the app and enforce device limits. It stores hashes of Serial Keys and device credentials for verification. Recoverable Serial Keys are also stored encrypted so an authorized administrator can retrieve them; they are not stored only as hashes. Administrative access tokens are verified using stored hashes.

Audit records include timestamps, administrator or user identifiers, actions, and relevant device identifiers. License, device, encrypted-key, and audit records are retained indefinitely unless removed through a manual deletion request or a specific administrative device/key operation. There is no automated retention purge. A device release removes that registration but does not erase the license or its audit history.

Zoom authorization and temporary data

The OAuth flow processes the authorization code, Zoom OAuth access and refresh tokens, and the ZAK needed to connect as the authorizing user. These tokens are handled only in ephemeral memory and are not persistently stored by the service. The callback displays the ZAK for manual copying into Connect. The desktop app holds the supplied ZAK and meeting connection details in memory for use during the session.

The authorization flow uses a short-lived, HttpOnly CSRF cookie with a 10-minute lifetime to validate the browser callback. HttpOnly prevents script access to the cookie. The cookie is for authorization protection, not advertising or analytics. Close the callback tab and clear any copied token from your clipboard after use.

Meeting media and local storage

Zoom delivers meeting media to the desktop bridge, which passes it locally to OBS. Optional NDI output distributes selected media over your configured network. This license and OAuth backend does not receive or store meeting audio or video. OBS recordings, streams, NDI receivers, and destinations you configure have their own storage and handling; you control those outputs and must obtain the necessary permissions.

Connect stores local activation information in Windows Credential Manager so it can verify the license again. Deactivate the device through Connect to release its registration and remove its saved activation credential.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts this service and its license database using Workers and Durable Objects. Requests pass through Cloudflare infrastructure; connection metadata, including IP addresses, is processed for request handling and rate limiting. Zoom processes sign-in, authorization, meeting access, and meeting media under its own policies. Local OBS use and optional NDI output are separate from the hosted license service.

Removal and deletion

To remove the Zoom authorization, sign in to Zoom App Marketplace, open Manage → Added Apps, select this app, and choose Remove. In Marketplace layouts that show My Library, find the app there and choose Remove from its actions menu. Confirm removal.

Disconnect the bridge and exit Connect to stop local use. Removing the Zoom app does not delete license records or recordings you made in OBS. Request deletion of service records by emailing vanvu.tran@vnc.vnconference.vn with your license email. Requests are handled manually; do not send keys, tokens, or meeting passcodes.

For questions about access, correction, or deletion, contact vanvu.tran@vnc.vnconference.vn. Include enough information to identify your license; ownership may need to be verified before records are changed or deleted. No automated deletion portal or fixed deletion turnaround is offered.
